Swallowing

I know it varies for each man, but how important is swallowing or at least ejaculating in someone's mouth? I really dislike the smell and taste of semen, and will not allow a man to "finish" during oral sex. I either use oral sex as foreplay only, or finish the job with my hand. My boyfriend said that I am the only girl he has been with that won't do it, but he assured me that he is okay with the fact that I don't. I know that he wished I would though.

But you already answered your own question...it's important to SOME men but not all men think so. Most are just pleased and grateful that they get oral sex at all. If your guy is fine with your choice, then don't worry about it.
IF you want to try and learn to get over your aversion to the smell and taste of his semen though, then you might try using flavored lubes or just keeping a soda or some sweet drink close by so that you can take a sip after you swallow or spit.
I really don't think swallowing is a "make or break" issue in relationships though!

Drinking 8 glasses of water a day will do more good and keep toxins from building up in the body. Or popping a strong mint like an Altoid can help or sipping a drink after he ejaculates. Flavored lubricants are also an option to mask a strong taste.
You can always just finish him with your hand, too.
Thanks a ton!

Yep, I definitely know when DH hasn't been drinking enough water. It tends to be a bit thicker and a more concentrated flavor.

From my perspective as a man, its a minor deal, but given a choice I would prefer to finish in the mouth. I like to get lost in the sensation and not have any sudden changes in the last minute or so. For the same reason, I prefer to finish inside during intercourse.
That said, I've tasted semen, and I recognize that it will never replace chocolate syrup as a dessert topping. I don't think its so bad, but I understand why someone might want to either not have it in their mouth in the first place or spit it out. At that point, I'm laid back savoring the orgasm I just had anyhow, so it won't make a big difference.
I think swallowing after oral sex is like cunnilingus after intercourse - the idea is a huge part of the attraction. You just figure if someone would do *that* for your pleasure, they must really love you/be turned on by you/be willing to serve you, or just that they're really into the act.
