The Tease!

I'm setting up a week long tease for DW starting tonight (Monday), that I have high hopes will yield explosive results. The kernel of the idea is from Laura Corn's book, although I'm turning up the kink factor just a little — because I can, and because it affords me the chance to be a little Dom, which we all know I'm up for. DW and the kids will be away for almost 3 weeks starting a week from today, so I'm hoping this will send her off with some wonderful memories of our last weekend together in July.

I've just taken one of our dining room chairs, carried it up to our bedroom and set it against the wall, without saying a word to her as to what I was doing or why. Unbeknownst to her, I've also made dinner reservations for the two of us for Saturday evening, and arranged with DS for him to babysit his sister that night.

More details to follow as the week wears on and the tease unfolds further.

Steve,

Just catching up on reading the events of the nght!! Sounds like it was a WONDERFUL send off!

I am sorry I missed the dinner, dh sort of kidnapped me for a "spur of the moment night away" ourselves. You might want to catch it on the 1000 Sexcapades thread.

I can't believe your DW is going to do all those college visits on her own. We were doing that ourselves this time last year. It actually might be less painful doing it your way, all at once.

DS has just finished his Sophomore year of HS, Liv, so this trip is more of a "narrowing down the parameters" trip than trying to decide where he actually wants to apply. We need him to start thinking about things like large university versus smaller engineering school, and in the city versus in the middle of a cornfield. Of course if he happens to find a good school along the way that he really wants to go to, and it motivates him to work a little harder on his grades in order to get in, I wouldn't complain about that either.

Ah! Good to get a jump on it. The narrowing down process is the hardest

Three of my ds' friends are going into engineering. My ds isn't sure if he wants law school, medical school or business school post grad, he knows he will likely need to go on (and spend more of his mom and dad's money). He is going for the history major and biology minor to keep his options open. All I can say is we were quite relieved when he came home from his college orientation a few weeks ago and he was

Alright, I just got DW to pack a vibrator in her toilet kit as she gets ready to leave on her epic trip. She may not get a chance to use it, as she's traveling with the kids and will be staying in hotel rooms or shared bedrooms at her parents' or sister's house, but just getting her to agree to pack a vibe, and to even consider soloing with it, is a huge step for her.

Steve, I think the parenting duties put a huge strain on being able to keep the foreplay going. Having kids at such different stages isn't too helpful either. I did that when my step kids lived with us, and our two were born/young. Now that the two youngest are both teenagers, their demands on us have lessened considerably. We're definitely able to find ourselves again, which is a nice feeling ... actually, for us, it's a nearly new feeling. When we began dating, there was a 17 year old and a ten year old already in the picture.

I think it's great that the two of you are trying Laura's ideas. Willingness to do anything that keeps the mind going in the right direction is a huge bonus!

LOL, I don't have problems driving off the road when my mind "goes there", but I do think my eyes sort of glaze over. I worry about things like noticing the traffic in front of me, and remembering to stop. To keep everyone safe, I try to only let my mind wander there when on the interstate, LOL.

BTW, the knife description is wonderful.
