Terminology ... Kegels, or what?

I must be wrong about what a Kegel is. My ex bf used to love me to squeeze his penis after he had ejaculated. I am told I'm able to do so really firm, and it feels good for the man them to sort of massage the end of his penis in their own semen. I feel it squeeze much higher up, sort of near where I would guess my uterus is. Bfs have validated approximately that -- they feel it tightly clamping around the head, etc. I thought that was a Kegel, but in the thread below you guys are saying Kegels are right at the opening. What is it that I'm doing?

Haven't had sex in some time -- haven't been terribly horny lately in fact -- but thinking about this is getting the blood flowing. ;-)

Kegels aren't a "thing" and they aren't "located" anywhere. A man named Dr. Kegel invented an exercise that would strenghthen the PC muscle and help with urinary incontinence. The PC muscle (puboccocceygeus muscle) is also called the pelvic floor muscle, because it runs thru the lower pelvis, and basically holds everything in place. It surrounds the openings in your pelvis, the urethra and the vagina. If you exercise it, and strenghthen it, you can tighten the opening of the urethera to prevent incontinence, and tighten the opening of the vagina, and some say produce better or stronger orgasms for men or women.

For more info, check any search engine....I just found 94,001 hits on PC Muscle.

GTB,
Glad you clarified that. I think some people had the idea that they were exercising some muscle right around the opening to the vagina. Actually the PC muscle is a band of muscle across the whole pelvic floor, as you said, and strengthening it provides a multitude of benefits. It is also the muscle that contracts during orgasm and men should be able to feel these involuntary "Kegels" when their woman orgasms while they're inside.

BTW, men have PC muscles , too, and strengthening them provides a lot of benefits including stronger erections and the ability to control ejaculation.
