You're thinking of sex because you're in a new relationship that includes lots of sex, as opposed to your marriage that didn't include lots of sex.
hi sakura
thank you so much for
I think about it a lot during the day. Even without these boards. It's just a topic I like.
I hear sex in regular work-type conversation, just because I have a dirty sense of humor. "Put it in my box"
Belladonna,
You're going to find several women here who have felt their libidos increased and their sexual interests took on a new form. While there are some younger and others older, there's a majority of us in our 40s that have experienced a sudden surge.
The "Sexual Peaks" folder was born in a large part because there were so may of us here. I think it's driven by hormones. Typically, as a woman hits the beginning of menopause, she looses interest in sex .... seems some of us defy that rule :-)
It's great that you have a new guy that you are enjoying sharing this with. I've been married for nearly 17 years. We have both very much enjoyed this new surge of mine -- it's like falling in love all over again!

I have my ups and downs...I have gone months hardly thinking of sex at all, and then sometimes I'll think about it every day for months.

I agree Misty. I recall my early discussions on this topic last year. A year has gone by and my interest has only increased.
We do defy the thinking that menopause, or it's onset, diminishes a woman's sexual drive.
I am a 49 year old woman with the drive of a 17yo boy sometimes.
I am reveling in it.
Indeed.
I only ever want just one....
