I've had a fwb thing going on with a guy friend from work for about a month now. For anyone who has done this type of thing before, is it normal to not have any kissing at all? I mean in all the times we've had sex, we've only kissed once and that was because I pretty much planted it on him during sex and even then he didn't seem real thrilled with it. A friend of mine said that he probably just doesn't want to kiss because it could be considered to personal and this is supposed to be just a friend thing. I personally find kissing to be a big turn on and I'm just wondering if this is normal for this type of relationship. Its the first time I've had this type of "friendship" so I was just curious. I know, I know I should just ask him but I just wanted to find out from some others if this is normal

Thanks!

i did it for almost a year. we kissed a lot except for the last time we were together.

and the guy i was w/ last night (not my bf) but there was kissing involved as well

i think your friend is on the right track though, some men may view kissing as intimate - i do - therfore shy away from it when they full well know they don't want intimacy...just sex..

does that make sense?

I don't think that it's unusual. Kissing is a very intimate thing to share. More intimate than sex in my opinion. Your FWB isn't in love with you. It's just sex as far as he is concerned.

I agree w/ West...it seriously is SUCH an intimate thing...

I'll be honest, if there was no kissing, I don't think I'd be very confident in my relationship AT ALL. Sometimes he'll kiss me out of nowhere and just look at me and hold my face in his hands and honestly, that kind of stuff really pushes our intimacy level. Having someone kiss you and really look into you, that's just the way it should be when two people feel the same way. If one's looking into the others eyes and the other is looking down...you can definately tell where they both are.
