Thank you very much! You posted my thoughts exactly. It seems like a few people think that "Let's talk about sex" means describe in detail your last "make out" session. Not only describing their own, but asking others to do the same. This isn't a place for eroticism or cybersex, and I'd hate to see it deteriorate to that (obviously you're not going to let that happen!).

I guess some people feel it's necessary to inform us of their wondrous sex lives in minute detail. And that's exactly why the phrase "too much information" was created. LOL!One's sex life is NEVER as interesting, much less sexy, to others as it is to oneself.

There are just too many other boards on IVillage, for people with those needs, to visit, rather than to turn this one into the same.

Personally, I don't have a problem with the butt-plug comment nor the moustache thingy.

I agree, Yasmin. As gross as some subjects are to me, personally, the "Dirty Sanchez" nonsense for instance, if they are legitimate, to SOMEONE, then there's no problem.

What I DO have a problem with is the desire for some to post highly detailed or pornographic descriptions of their encounters as though it's a contest to see who can be more revealing and descriptive.

Personally, I don't come here to be titillated, or to titillate. I have my own sex life for that. And that's JMHO.
