Too much pubic hair

I never trim or shave my pubic hair and I was wondering is it possible to have too much pubic hair? My dh has never said anything about my pubic hair before but the other day after sex he said that I seemed to be getting hairier down there. Do you think I should trim a little bit?

I think trimming it would be great.

Misty, I do groom myself. . . I started after having to shave for my vasectomy and liked the smooth feeling so much, I find it hard to in back. . . I only shave around the base and "the twins" the rest I trim. . . I'm trying the waxing thing now (using Nad's) but it didn't work that well. . . Had to do a lot of painful plucking to finish the job. . . Love the feeling and it'll be nice not to get the stubble. . . DW has never mentoned it. . . Not sure he she even notices or if she's too shy to say anything

I'm sure she's noticed it, but it doesn't sound like she's particular either way. Have you mentioned to her that you would like her to trim again?

I think people (at least some) do get hairier as they get older.

I've been asking her for the past couple of weeks (without hinting) when we could give her a trim but she's always too tired or busy with other things. . . We're joking about it lately because of how out of control it has become. Might be something to the age theory. She's 46. . . Would love it if she'd try the tweezing or waxing but if she can't find time to simply trim, she'll never have the time to take it to the next level. ;-(

Think about it before you do it. I think most women at least do a bikini shave. My advice is don't shave it all off the first time. It may be alittle irritating. Have your husband use scissors and shorten the hair alittle. See what you both think. If you like it do more. Thats how I did it until one day I just shaved it all off and both my husband and I love it that way

I thought about tweezing since I don't have a lot of hair to begin with and I only shave my labia.

Tami, I think you and gingerlemon are WAY brave! I want your second opinion before I even think about trying, lol.

If you feel you have too much, then a trim seems in order.
I recently went through a makeover and trimmed mine fairly close.
It looks quite a bit different, and DH asked if i was going to
let it grow back in...he has been known to go to a few hirsute
(hairy)sites looking at the big bushes.... so he enjoys the hair.
I kinda like what i have now tho.

Well one major difference is hair is about three weeks and a piercing is forever.

I think we're saying the same thing, only in a slightly different way. I disagree with the comment "who cares what your partner thinks,...", as I also disagree with "if your partner wants it, you should do it, even if it causes you anguish.."

My point was to consider the partners preferences, they do matter.
