Tuna?

So I just got done making a cold tuna salad, which got me to thinking....why is there the old joke out there that women smell like tuna? Now, tuna has a very characteristic odor, and I KNOW that I have never smelled like that! Every now and then, I hear some reference to that, and it kind of offends me, so I am wondering if there is something out there that I don't know, and maybe am just naive about? Sorry this is so weird..... but I really don't feel comfortable asking anyone about this in person.

A fishy smell is one of the symptoms of having a vaginal infection.

I have had an experience with that and it was rather unpleasant. It was just a "post-sex" odor. Me and her had been having sex for the past 6 months or so and we had never had that 'problem'. Also when I say it was "post sex", I mean it didn't smell fishy when I gave her oral before we had sex but it sure did when we were finished and I pulled out. We had used a condom and so I'm not totally sure if that made much of a difference.

No, women don't smell like tuna, they have the perfume of "female"...which is great! I think women are their own worst enemies in this regard. Almost all comments I've ever heard about women smelling like fish have come from women.
