Has anbody tried Viagra? What were the results? Hubby tried it for the first time the other night and it didn't do anything. He took it about 15 min before we started anything, then had about 40 mins of foreplay. We had some oral and then intercourse, while it was good it was not any different. So at this point it had been about 1 hr and 20 mins. since he took it. After about a 20 min. rest we started messing around again and gave him oral again and nothing. Didn't even start getting hard. Such a dissapointment. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you meant by it was not different.

My DH takes Levitra (Viagra gave him a headache) but we haven't had any problems. If your DH was able to achieve an erection and have sex through to ejaculation, the Viagra was doing just what it was supposed to. What were you looking for?

Like Tish, I'm wondering what you're talking about. You had intercourse, and it wasn't any different??? What is supposed to be different? Was the viagra prescribed for him by a doctor, or did he get it elsewhere? Does he have Erectile Dysfunction, meaning he cannot get an erection, at all, ever? If he took it without a doctors prescription, thinking he was going to have an everlasting erection, he took a very foolish chance, because for the wrong person, it can be dangerous, even fatal!

What you described is like most men.....they reach climax and ejaculate, and then lose their erection, and they can't get it back immediately. Even if a doctor prescribed it, it's not going to make him into superlover....it's just going to give him the same kind of erection he had before he had a problem, and it won't last any longer than it ever did.

Yes it was prescribed by a Dr. the reason for getting it was sometimes he can't maintain an erection very long. He mentioned it to the Dr. and he agreed to give it. No we weren't expecting a miracle drug, magic pill whatever. Not expecting hours of contininous hard ons. Just expected it to be maybe harder, harder longer or to have his orgasm be more intense and he felt as though he didn't even take anything. There is a website on viagra that have supposedly true stories from users and maybe some are lies but our experience was nothing like what we read on there .

If he didn't feel 'like he took anything' and yet everything happened as normal, the Viagra worked **just the way it is supposed to**!!! It is *supposed* to mimic what happens when you don't take it. The testimonials - well, take 'em for what they're worth. Maybe for them it *is* all that and more, if they weren't able to have sex at all for a long time.

In the year DH's been taking it, I have yet to see anything happen a lot longer, harder or more often, than before. It's not supposed to make any difference, it's just supposed to allow the man to actually have sex.

Testimonials have to be taken with a grain of salt.

I have tried it before. It didn't do anything different the first time. I have heard other men say the same about thier first time. The second time I tried it, it gave me a seriously hard erection. Seemed to lack some feeling though. And later that night I was awakened by severe sweats and high BP...I could feel my heart racing andmy pulse pounding through my body and head. I was very luck not to have a heart attack. The Viagra was not prescribed to me. I was foolish, I wanted to "go all night".
If the Dr. checked him out and prescribed it, then I'd say try it again.
Just be carefull.

I talked my Dr into letting me have it. I can get it up and get the job done with out it. With "V" it gets harder and will last longer. I would give it to your DH and just go on like nothing was going on for an hour then. Put the move on him, in the first hour, nothing, not even a kiss or a touch. Go in the other room and start cleaning house or something. When you do get started you might tell him you took some too, (some gals take it) Tell him you want both of you to do the best job of foreplay to each other before you jump on. Then instead of some usual position try something new or one he likes best, then enjoy the firmness!

It's not a miracle drug. And it's meant to help people that have a medical problem with getting erections. I posted this recently, could be worth reading and thinking about:
