My favorite pastime at airports while waiting for flights is to ogle at women. Mostly I am an a$$ man and so the women don't catch me at it. But I confess to frequently enjoying a lovely piece of "camel toe" too. The idea is to enjoy the show put out by the beautiful woman, not to make her squirm with a stare. So if the crotch is tight enough to show the outlines, I do take a peak and in the split second, I imagine how it looks naked - size, shape, smell and taste, the works. I am definitely thinking of sex, but just something to pass the time.
DW knows about this hobby of mine and she always points out the sights for me when we go out. She is always like "look at those b00bs" "look at those jeans, just a little bit lower and she doesn't have to take it off to pee" and what not. Once a woman overheard DW's remark and went off shaking her head at this strange woman!!
Remember the scene in "Ghost" when Demi Moore is in the police station talking about ghosts, and the female at the other desk overhearing the conversations says "So let me get this straight...there are ghosts all around us, watching over us?..."Heck, I ain't ever gonna get naked again." ;-)
I ain't ever gonna look at a guys at the airport in the same way....
I think we all admire people we think are attractive, but when a man is blatantly staring at my body and making me uncomfortable, that can be perceived as rude, threatening or even aggressive, IMO. Big difference. Women always have to be concerned about our safety and men should remember that.
*Women always have to be concerned about our safety and men should remember that* Yep, fully agree with THAT.
I think I have got the "art of ogling" fine tuned. Because most women don't catch me at it. When they do, I make a big show of confused, fumbling, sheepish embarassment and some of them are charmed! Some of them have got the triumphant "gotcha" look and I look away quickly and everything is forgiven because she thinks she won that round !
I have got plenty of my share of the black, dagggers drawn look too, but this is less than half, so I think I am ahead of the game.
I am imagining a scene - ;););) - a certain lady named raindancer walks into an airport lounge - there is an Indian man there and she thinks he is ogling at her. She walks over to him, and says - "I know who you are - you are Indiancouple, well take that buster" - and she swings her handbag and BIFF!! Ouch!
She would be very wrong to do that because she would have gotten the wrong man, I don't travel to the US at all.
Believe me, there are ghosts all around watching you, so next time you masturbate, remember this..LOL. But talking of that film, DW thought the bad guy looked cuter and sexier. What did you think ? Actually she thought he was even cuter than Demi.
If it makes you feel uncomfortable, rude and agressive, then that's how it is for you. Some women do not find it so, it might even be a compliment. Everything is subjective, we are the only ones who control how to feel inside.
In my case, this staring at my crotch was a turn on when I first met my guy. At first, I found it offensive but later it became an erotic thing.
I wouldn't be too smug. Men are NEVER as smart as they THINK they are. Particularly when they have to brag just to hear themselves and for their own ego's sake about lascivious behavior directed towards and at the expense of women.
Exactly! And why I said "IMO" because it IS my opinion. I'm not attempting to speak for anyone else. Although, I really can't imagine how a woman could perceive crotch staring as a "compliment"....unless she is desperately in need of sexual attention.
And I didn't say that a strange male staring at my crotch would make ME feel rude and aggressive...I said that I would perceive HIM that way.
"At first, I found it offensive, but later, it became an erotic gesture."
Didn't you basically just repeat my original answer? Yes, a complete stranger blatantly staring at my crotch makes me feel very uncomfortable, but when my DH does it, someone I KNOW and trust, then it's another matter. Because I don't have to wonder about his motivation or intent. BIG difference.
I didn't quite get the masturbation remark. tee hee Are you suggesting that I get aroused by the thought of men ogling my crotch? That doesn't turn me on at all. ;-)
As far as the bad guy in "Ghost" and what I thought of him lookwise....I didn't find him attractive at all. But that's just how I am. When it comes to just physical attraction alone, I am very picky. In fact, I've been very excited lately because there is FINALLY one hunky new actor that actually gets my engine going...the guy who was in "Unfaithful"....Olivier Martinez. But before him, other than Robert Redford when he was in his prime, no celebrity ever did anything for me. I drive a hard bargain...what can I say?
