That's why I keep a roll of Reynold's Wrap bedside. "Sometimes they cling and sometimes they don't, but you can always rely on Reynold's Wrap!

Or to take play on Westie's idea, how about the colored wraps? I could be up close and personal with a blue penis one night and and orange one the next!

Actually Schrecken, you will get many more germs by kissing someone

I know that mouths are full of germs (I recently saw a tv show where they cultured a dog's mouth and a human mouth and the human saliva had many times the bacteria as the dog!), but I guess what gets me is what might come out of a penis.... yes I know urine is sterile, but what if the guy isn't scrupulously clean down there? They market all these deodorant sprays and such for women, but I can't imagine that men don't sometimes develop an odor down there... It would be extrememly difficult, psychologically, to overcome an aversion to something like that, even if I was a lesbian (knowing what women's privates look and smell like) I would also have great difficulty as well. It reminds me of those experiments that have been done where they dye foods to make them look gross - like black icecream, green meat and other putrid-looking colors that don't go with certain foods - the foods tasted the same but some people could not even bring themselves to eat because of the psychological factor. I guess this is just a human thing; therefore women and men who receive oral sex are quite lucky in that their partners have somehow overcome this natural aversion.

I don't know about a natural aversion to oral sex. I wanted to eat at the Y since I was at best 14. When I finally got to, I had a great time. Just my experience.

> I swear I'll really be careful with whom I share a drink with these days - you never

Well, you never know what was in the drink last night either!! I very often dip his penis into a glass of wine before/during a bj. Esp. red wine. So if you are visiting my house and I've left a half-drunk glass of wine on the counter, you might not wanna just take a sip if you're squeamish. ;-)

(NB: I have learned from my bf: do NOT dip your man's penis into a glass of champagne ... the bubbles or something apparently get inside the and when they touch the super-sensitive skin inside his peehole; apparently it really stings and they will be going owwwwww owwwww owwwww. Champagne is wonderful for bathing the shaft and balls before licking them though -- love to pour it out of the glass onto his erect member -- a little champagne in one's mattress really isn't to do any harm.)

If the person (man or woman) practices good hygeine, there is not a bad odor, just the natural scent that is supposed to be there.

Well, all I gotta say is "more power to you" for those who have no problem in this area. You really have what I (and the OP) don't have, whatever that is - gusto, gall, courage, I don't know. I guess you could take the saying "love conquers all" to mean that. I look forward to being married someday, but the oral issue is one thing that I'm going to dread dealing with. I guess I was just raised differently - private parts weren't to be touched, much less be touched by a mouth... washing one's hands after a trip to the bathroom was imperative, therefore I figured there must be a reason for such cleanliness.

BTW I don't find green ketchup appetizing either, they also had it in purple a while back.

I have a question - not specifically for you Tish, but for any one - (not to sound rude or gross), but after your partner has done oral on you, do you then kiss him/her, and if so, what goes thru your mind? (all that comes to my mind is when I was younger and I used to kiss my dog on the nose, and my mom would say "she just finished licking her privates (or the other dog's) and then you kiss her?!?!") I don't know; old associations die hard, and the will for me I think.
