Sometimes when i have sex with my boyfriend it feels like i need to pee. Is this normal? Lastnight we had sex, and some wee came out! It was embarrassing. Has anyone else ever done this?

Thanks

Many women get the feeling they have to urinate, that feeling usually comes right before an orgasm and that feeling is very normal.

Hey, thanks for your help. I do always make sure I pee before and afterwards but I still sometimes get the urge to wee during sex. I dont think it was ejaculate which came out, although it may have been? My bf didnt seem to mind, but i was really embarrassed! Do you think it's fairly normal for some wee to escape during sex?

My GF urinates occassionally during sex if things are "going well" for her. Not a big problem, other than she really likes oral. :) Pretty sure it isn't "female ejaculation".

Yes, between the wrong people, it could be a problem, but hey, if it's a problem, he's the wrong person for you. My GF and I laugh about it and enjoy it when it happens. Sex is supposed to be fun and silly and messy. If it is dull and serious and clean, you are probably doing it wrong. :)

If you think about it, it really isn't too surprising. Orgasm typically includes contraction of all the muscles in the lower pelvic region, not too surprising that the bladder might contract a bit, too...and urination could be the result when that happens.

It is *possible* that kegel exercises could help with the actual urination part, or it may make it more common. no idea. :) Kegels are a good thing, though, regardles.

Would you say i should just let it flow then? He didn't seem to mind anyway. I'm just worried i'll pee everywhere! How would I tell the difference between pee and ejaculate? Do you think i'd know? Does anyone else experience this?

It does happen sometimes. It's slightly embarrassing but what are you going to do. I don't know if it's just the way we have sex or what -- we typically do go at it very hard. He often has to go to during sex too. I mean not in or near me, he doesn't "leak" as I sometimes do, he just gets up and it sometimes sounds like a whole tanker truck full of urine is being emptied lol. Then he comes back and without missing a beat we continue. Anyway I think it's just a natural function so I don't worry too much about it.

There is no smell to female ejaculation, it's a clear fluid (usually a lot of fluid but not always)

I've read articles that say its simply female ejaculation and its nothing to worry about, whereas others say its urine. Here's a few links for you to check out yourself:

Let it flow is a gret outlook. A few months back, it was written to place a white towel underneath and see what color the stain is AND what odor it has. My stain is clear, yet the smell is musky - no urine smell at all.

He loves the fact that I "flow freely" and these boards have helped me be proud of flowing free!

Unless you have a medical issue like UTI, I wouldn't worry at all. Ask your BF if it bothers him. Its possible he may find it arousing.
My DW 'let go' once during IC with her on top. I was unbelievable excited and it opened a whole new avenue for us. It was the thought of her enjoying herself to the point of losing control that I love.
The bedroom should be the one place you should NEVER feel embarassed. That's the 'trust' part of the relationship.
