Moon, when I was younger, I thought there was no way I would enjoy sex more than I did at that time. I would guess that was between the ages of 17 and 25. My libido went into hiding after my second son was born, so there was a lull for me for a few years in my 30s.

Once I hit 42, things started picking up pace, double time! I have been having the most incredible sex of my life over the past couple of years, and loving it. I'm 45, but I hope this continues forever ;-)

Hi Moon,

I have to say my answer is similar to Misty's but every woman has a differnt answer.

I enjoyed sex in my late teens and into my 20's for the most part but it wasn't great. All through my 30's I was busy raising children, working, taking care of the household etc...and sex really took a back seat for a zillion reasons. At the age of 45 my libido took off triple time. Again many reasons, some I can pin point, some I can't and it has been amazing ever since. I am 47 1/2 now and no signs of it slowing, THANK GOODNESS! (plus I have a fabulous partner

Moon, I was often termed a nymphomaniac in my younger days, and I've always liked sex (although there was a period of time I forgot that due to RL issues).

I think the biggest difference in my 40s has been that I'm not inhibited. I've been with DH long enough, and we're comfortable enough together, that we can both be ourselves AND talk about the things that we would like to try, enjoy, etc. Removing any and all inhibition has provided a new gateway, I think. We've had a lot of fun actually experimenting, and that has made us look forward to doing even more experimenting. I wouldn't say I like sex more now, but I like it differently now.

Often, women do have issues with dryness during different stages of menopause. Sometimes I have dryness issues, but not all the time. Sometimes, I think I just dry up all of the natural lubrication available because we often have sex for so long at one time.

I'm not sure I understand your question about "at this age your body is supporting".

Well speaking for myself...I always enjoyed sex, but was pretty LL...then when I hit 44 it skyrocketed...hormones I guess...anyhoo, now I oculd do it everyday...of course just as DH is aging and loosing his..ha,ha...thank god pills for that....so now things are really great...and I do masturbate usually every day....
