what do men think of vibrators?

my BF of 3 months and i were taking a little compatibility quiz the other day, just for fun... there was a question in it about sex toys, and he made a comment about how it would make him uncomfortable if i had a vibrator. it surprised me, actually, because he's quite enthusiastic about the fact that i masturbate (he LOVES to watch), but he said a vibrator is different because that's not a sensation a man can duplicate. he's also very much opposed to a couple using a vibrator together during sex and doesn't understand why anyone would want to do that.

what do you guys think? is that how most guys feel, or is he being "unenlightened"?

All depends on the guy. The individuals. I have known a lot of men who enjoy playing with toys with me. Toys can add to your session and make it longer. Some guys will play around with a vibrator on me as part of foreplay. Anal vibrators and oral play together is incredible foreplay. Highly recommend it if you enjoy anal sex. The visual of that is a real turn on and something you can do before climax and after - as a lead up to "second course". ;)

I don't know about "most men", but this man thinks they're just fine. I've never understood why anyone would object to anything that heightens or provides their partner's pleasure.

I suppose if you were using the vide instead of making love, or couldn't make love without it, it'd be a problem, but as a toy you use yourself, or occasionally when you're together, where's the prob? You don't object to him masturbating or looking at porn, do you?

I love to see my SO using them! and even when shes alone its cool. I'd buy her a whole assortment if she wanted. The prob would be if they became a substitute for me, but I think that goes beyond the availability of vibrators

That's the truth. They can't duplicate it. They can't grow a penis either. There are many women who want two penises and NEED vibration on their clit. The only way to accomplish that is by using a dildo and/or a vibrator. So if he thinks he's not enough, he's right, he's not. So you either have to accept him the way he is and do without, or he has to change the way he feels. He doesn't need to actually experience it to feel the way he does, because his problem is not with the mechanics of it, it's emotional.
