When I first met my wife she wore briefs. After we dated for a while I asked her if she ever wore a thong. She said that every now and then she did. I bought her a couple and now that is all she wears. I was wondering what the rest of you ladies prefered?

It was just meant tongue in cheek. My mate is Greek and everytime I say something she finds weird, she says must be an English thing. And seeing as some people on here found the thought of thongs being comfortable weird, I just threw the comment in. No harm intended so hope no one was offended if thats what you were getting at by asking me to explain :)

No, no offense taken at all! To each his own, always.

Was just curious as to why you connected being English with comfort with thongs. There are plenty of people here in the States, and I'm sure, in the world, who wear them daily.

Wish I never made the comment now ha ha.

Yes im aware everyone is different and that many people all over the world would wear a thong, guess I was just using a personal joke which obviously no one else is going to get so wont be doing that again in the future to avoid any confusion and having to explain my answer :) I can see now it was a silly thing to do, or at least thats how I now feel unfortunately.

Once again, I was only asking for clarification, not trying to put you on the defensive.

i guess i'm the only one so far who prefers boy shorts. I have ONE thong & i think i wore it 2x. i do not see how women find them comfortable. it bothered me the whole time & i wasn't sure if i was wearing it the correct way. lol. i USED to wear high cut brief but i'd rather go commando than wear a thong. i don't care if anyone can see panty lines. most assume you're wearing underwear anyway so who cares. why do men think it's cute to see a womans thong peeking out? anyhoo...

I like boy shorts in the winter, but they're just too hot the rest of the year. Very comfortable though.

My partner used to wear a variety of underwear but never thongs or g-strings and didn't have any. I bought her a set of lingerie a few years ago that included a g-string and since then she has bought more and more herself to the point where she rarely wears anything else. She claims that they are comfortable and she feels sexy wearing them. Since wearing them she's also discovered that she's also got a bit of thing about leaving it on during intercourse and just pulling the thong slightly to one side. She says it turns her on a lot doing it like that and she likes the sensation of the material rubbing against her. Don't get me wrong, we don't do it like that often. But she loves it when we do.

Personally I don't see how g-strings could be the most comfortable things in the world but if she's happy with them, who am I to complain?

I thought I replied, but I couldn't find it so I will reply again.

I wear good fitting jeans alot (not overly tight, but not baggy either). I also wear them at waist level (not with the crotch down around my knees). I also own a couple of g-strings and have worn them for DW too ... but usually not with pants.

I prefer cute little bikini underwear. I have worn thongs on occasion if I was wearing pants/shorts (as opposed to jeans) and wanted a smooth line. I found I had to fight the urge to pick at my backside all night - I don't like to be distracted by my clothes.

I think it depends on the situation. I wear boyshorts more and more these days, especially to work. If I am partying, why wear undies? Elaine
