I think that washing my silicone dildo with soap and water is causing me irritation. It sort of stings. When I put a rubber on it, it doesn't do that. I use plenty of lube.

I wonder if there is a product for cleaning them that is better. I certainly don't feel comfortable asking my gyn.

Thanks,

Yes sweetie this can cause irritation and possible infection. I use Before & After Toy cleaner from Slumber Parties. It kills bacteria, has a very pleasant scent and is enxpensive! I sell toys for a living so I am able to help in any way possible. Hope this helps and a tip....if using alcohol on your toys this can dry and crack your toys as well.

Hope this helps!

Warmly,

Hey, I've been thinking of doing that business, too. Do you make a living at it or just spare change? I need to make $250 per month so I can hire my maid back and continue dying my hair...lol.

I asked about toy parties in a previous post but I guess you didn't see it.

Just a little mild soap and lots of warm water. I 'spose you could try a hypoallegenic soap?

Agree Westie. Hot water and a mild soap. That's all we've ever used and never had a problem.
