What's going on

In May when I had went to the gyno to get my annual pap done, I was experiencing pain when she was examining me. It hurt so bad. My first pap (done in 2003) did not feel bad, but this one did. She said that my ovaries were hard and she even sent me to get blood tests done to make sure nothing was wrong with me. My pap came back normal, I went back for a follow up and the doctor never found out what was wrong with me and why I experienced so much pain during the exam.

Well each time I would have sex it would be painful. Two weeks ago when I tried to put a tampon in I couldn't because it hurt. So I went to the doctor today to get everything checked out. When he gave me the exam I was in so much pain. It was worst than what I had experienced in May. As soon as he tried to insert the speculum in it hurt. When he was feeling around in me I was in so much pain, I almost began to cry. When he was done I felt sick to my stomach. They checked me for STD's (the results have not come back yet) and the results came back negative for a yeast infection or bacterial infection.

Tonight I actually had to take a pain reliever because my ovaries were hurting. But the doctor said that he saw something on my cervix that looked like it could have been a cysts but I have to come back Tuesday to get another examination (the pain I'm going to go through). What could be going on? And how could my cervix cause me to have pain when trying to insert a tampon?

Babygirl, none of us here are doctors. This sounds very important and not something to be asking lay people like us on the net.

Go back to your doctor with your questions. And if he can't answer you, find another.

If you continue to be in pain, then call your doctor and tell him you have to be seen before next Tuesday.
