Which coupons did he use?

Several have been asking me that question. So here's what happened.

I gave them to him at work when i brought him is lunch yesterday. Then we had to talk on the phone a couple times after that and he said he had been thinking about it but did not know what he was going to use that night.

When he got home, we finished putting the children to bed and finished making dinner together and enjoyed our meal alone without the children around.

of course I was the one that had to finally bring up the coupons and he said that he wasn't sure yet. I felt that I had pushed him too far and I asked if I totally scared him off by doing that. He said that only one of them scared him. It was the photo shoot one, he said he was just suprised and wondered where I got the idea for that. He said all the others weren't too much for him to handle, just suprised.

So of course I felt bad and

That sounds like a very nice night. Please don't feel bad. I bet he'll use them up. Just take it slow.

Thank you for the update. In the beginning of your message I was really starting to feel worried that it wasn't going to pan out for you. But I do think it a very big positive for you and your husband.

A question comes to mind...sexually, who is normally the initiator? Would he be from the old-school type of thought process. Meaning, does he feel that any initiation should be done by the man? Since you were saying you are experiencing a rise in libido, and subsequently you are asking for it more. Which is why you ran with the coupon book option. Is the situation different now than it was in the past?

The positive I see in the night you had, is that in the beginning he was very unsure of what to make of the coupon book. But after he rationalized the book and what you were trying to do. He took a "baby-step" forward. He used a "safe" coupon. But he used a coupon nonetheless. Once he was able to understand what was going on. He willingly joined in.

He might need some time to get up to full speed, but I think he is on his way.

Maggie, you did a great job.

You are very wise and intuitive. It's amazing how accurately you interpret things just from my writing. this isn't the first time either. Your DW must love that about you. I apoligize, I think this will be long as you asked a lot of questions and you are helping me figure things out.

<> Currently I am - I would guess about 80% of the time. the other 20% it is mutual, like things 'just happen'.

<> I think he feels that it would be fine for either sex to initiate.
