Who Are You Missing....

Every now and then I think about people who haven't posted in a while and wonder where they have gone. I find that I miss them, miss their "voice".

While I certainly understand RL taking precedence over posting... I go quiet myself often...I still think about those that I don't see often. Some will keep us up to date on life's happenings and vacations. Others leave me wondering.

Today I am thinking about scorpiowoman and Magenta Starr...two very strong and interesting women I very much enjoy.

Who are you missing ?

She did have a great sense of humour, Misty. I guess secret agents have to disappear and go undergroun every so often, lol.

Luvvy surfaced over on FB during the writing and posting of Cruise Adventure, in fact. She quite appreciated that story. Perhaps someone should flush her out, in case she hasn't finished reading it...

Ah, the sentimental side of one. Since Em mentioned her father, I'll mention that I have been missing a very dear RL friend who lives too far away for us to see one another very frequently. She is a very talented woman in her own right, who has recognised and encouraged talent in many people around her, myself included. She is as straightforward as the day is long - oh how I love those old sayings! - and has extraordinary expectations she feels she should fulfill. She has certain physical afflictions that have forced her to slow down and cut back on things, and is not taking that at all well. I would walk on hot coals barefoot, if I thought it would be of help to her. Ouch! Okay, no I wouldn't. But the thought is there.

Must be a different Emily. The one I was referring to is a married mother of two.

The greatest joy I found in posting, aside from the wonderful avenue for self expression, was in the connections I forged with people I would never have come across in my
