Who Are You Missing....

Every now and then I think about people who haven't posted in a while and wonder where they have gone. I find that I miss them, miss their "voice".

While I certainly understand RL taking precedence over posting... I go quiet myself often...I still think about those that I don't see often. Some will keep us up to date on life's happenings and vacations. Others leave me wondering.

Today I am thinking about scorpiowoman and Magenta Starr...two very strong and interesting women I very much enjoy.

Who are you missing ?

Hi there. I haven't seen the movie The Notebook. Is it as good as the book?

Just making sure I have the correct person, are you the great writer along with Steve? Its been awhile.

I also read the book but after the movie, and yes I think both are very good, definitely worth watching and putting it in your collection.

What a wonderful topic, Mrs. P!

I've been missing a number of people. Like you, I miss that flirty, chatty stripper, although I see she's promised to stop by a little more often. And I miss the arachnid chick who just may be my daughter in disguise. And that smartass bean counter. And the goddess who can layeth the smackdown with the best of 'em. And the very busy woman who still owes us a gingersnap recipe.

I miss Scooter and Tish because I've spent hardly any time in their neighborhood lately. I miss seeing Steve on this board. And I miss many of you who have been here more than I have in recent weeks.

Since we're allowed to list someone we miss in person, I have been missing my father greatly for the past month or so. The last time my mother went through a health crisis, nearly 31 years ago, he and I

Goodness, no... I can't write like that. That would be nenu.

I've been wanting to see the movie, but too afraid it would not have followed the book. Which I absolutely loved. It's always a good book to read when I want to cry.
