Who Are You Missing....

Every now and then I think about people who haven't posted in a while and wonder where they have gone. I find that I miss them, miss their "voice".

While I certainly understand RL taking precedence over posting... I go quiet myself often...I still think about those that I don't see often. Some will keep us up to date on life's happenings and vacations. Others leave me wondering.

Today I am thinking about scorpiowoman and Magenta Starr...two very strong and interesting women I very much enjoy.

Who are you missing ?

Aha...I knew that we probably had some things in common. DS is not in a band, per se, but is involved in the local franchise of the Paul Green School of Rock (SOR, -- this was the inspiration for the movie!) & recently participated w/his school in their national festival in Phila. -- it was a cool experience for all, as he got to perform on-stage at the Electric Factory (a famed musical venue there!). The good thing is that he doesn't have inflated dreams of being a rock star...yet! He knows that his parents will not 'tolerate' any 'starving musicians' who live at home forever - lol! He has his sights set on going to college, etc., as does DD.

I can appreciate that your younger DS has benefited greatly from technological advances. Fortunately our school system is great w/kids w/a wide variety of learning disabilities. I know it takes a depth of patience, knowledge and compassion to be there for your children, whatever their needs may be. Yep, RL definitely begs for an outlet for 'fun' -- ie. the bds!

Thanks for chattin'. Hope you have a great weekend!

I hope your charity walk goes well. That is a fitting tribute to your father. Glad to hear your mother is slowly but surely recovering, and it is no surprise she is tired, considering all that she's been through.

Oh dear, dickering with caterers, now that is enough to stress a woman, and cause her to have incipient hair fatigue - how is your's holding up, by the way? I did see it twitching - my it's amazing how the little details just seem to jump out at one - I hope that is not a sign of something serious.

Thank you, Misty, I really love it, too. I think it suits me quite well, don't you? A mutual friend of our's made it for me.
