We are ALL human. Ahem, when a post starts off like that, watch out! LOL!!

Have any of you EVER accidentally touched someone in what could be considered an inappropriate way? Sometimes its innocently embarrassing for some, other times its bad habit from spousal experiences, LOL!

Whats your story folks?

Not that I can remember or that I'm aware of.

Now THAT raises yet issue. How serious is it when it wasn't realized/intentional at all? Good point.

yes, I have. It was hilarious.

I was at a party and mistook another man for my DH. I approached my friend (who I thought was DH from behind) and wrapped my arms around his shoulders. I stood there wrapped around my friend for quite some minutes while everyone else was looking bemused. My friend wondered what was going on and my DH wondered how long it would take me to figure out. I finally glanced at my friend and got one hell of a shock.

That would depend on who it was done to and if they knew it was accidently or thought it was meant to happen.

So were you drinking at the time or was it that honest of a mistake?

... wedding day, standing on the stairs after the reception and the new wife's friend wants a hug before she leaves. Give her a hug, but the hand hits the bottom ... HERS! Was too distracted to notice she was 2 steps higher so a 'normal' hug went off-target. She did NOT appreciate it one bit! Luckily the swat didn't leave a mark..,....

LOL! Reminds me of doing something similar at a party. I went up to my "DH" and swatted his behind only to discover it wasn't my DH! It was his roommate from college whom I hadn't seen in years!

I was probably designated driver that night - so quite sober.

Can't think of too many occasions but this was quite recent even if it is a bit boring: I was at a family BBQ and it was early (not too much alcohol). BBQ was happening outside so I went inside to tell people to head outside. As the sister-in-law in the fitting top turned and went past in the hallway I began to raise my hand to unconciously touch/guide her shoulder past me as I'm talking to others behind her - just as she turned towards me. I got a full, firm handful of breast. That was pretty embarrassing for a split second.

I've mistaken my partner's sister for my partner several times but never 'close-up' - yet. They always have people/customers/distant acquaintances talking to them that think they are the other sister....
