Hey, I just want to know if I'm normal (at least physically lol).
The perineum is the skin between the anus and the vagina (usually about an inch or two in length), and is usually pretty taut. So, I'm a little confused as to what you were seeing. I have seen in movies where there is about an inch or so of skin - which seems to come from the inside of the vagina - around the penis, like you were describing. Is that what you were seeing?
I would guess that whatever you are seeing isn't abnormal, though it may not be typical of all women. If it really concerns you, you could ask your gyno about it.
And as far as whether or not it should "gross him out," he obviously enjoys having sex with you, so don't let yourself think that at all. This is the first time you're seeing it, but I'm sure it's not his first. He enjoys having sex with you, so that's all that really matters, right?
I haven't got a clue what you're talking about.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I have been watching so much porn lately, I've seen it a bunch! (blushing!) I am pretty sure that it's normal and your bf probably thinks it's really hot. How come no guys have chimed in on this yet???
Just watch some porn for a few minutes and you're bound to see it and feel better!
I don't think that most men look at any part of your genitals and thing "oh, boy, that's attractive"!
What you are looking at is probably your inner labia as is travels back and forth with his strokes. The size of labia vary. Yours may be on the larger side. It's not something to be self-conscious about. I'd love watching a sight like that. Remember we're very visual.
The perineum is the external skin area (and yes it is totally visible with the proper angle) between the back edge of the vagina(female)/scrotum(male) to the beginning of the anus. There can be a bit of a ridge of skin that extends through the center. Kind of like a seam where the human body was stitched together. While this area would be visible in a photograph, it is not likely to do what you describe. Take a look at Google images. If anyone has seen a birth, the area does tend to bulge as the pressure from the baby's head comes down the vaginal canal. The bulge is relieved as the labia part and the baby's head crowns.

The perineum is taught, and his penis wouldn't come in contact with it during sex (the vaginal walls would separate him from it if nothing else). Like Paul said, it's most likely your inner labia.
I think when you are less lubricated, they are more likely to drag on the penis.
Have you asked your BF what part of your body it is? It's most likely he could be a big help in showing you what's happening and explaining what part of your body it is.

I don't like porn, but I did call up a couple of vids as you guys suggested and it's that same thing.
