Well, it might have only been 5 minutes, but it MIGHT be 18+ years of raising a child! I guess you haven't heard of "pre-ejaculate" that leaks from from a penis from the moment of erection. That pre-ejaculate can contain thousands of sperm per drop. If you happen to be ovulating at the time, you might very well get pregnant.

If you don't want to get pregnant, at the very least, you ALWAYS use a condom, but better yet, you get yourself on some kind of b/c so that you don't get pregnant until you're ready to have a baby.

What you did is like Russian Roulette. Maybe you got lucky this time, but if you continue to do it, you will get pregnant.

Agreed, that is why whenever my girlfriend and I have had intercourse, we always use condoms, because all it takes is one time. Granted she has been going through menopause and even when she isn't having periods any longer, we still will use condoms when we have intercourse. We were rolling around on her couch one night in the alltogether and though I wasn't inside her, I was nearby and did have some pre-come happen and her period was late it ended up being OK fortunately because she has been a mother already with her now ex-husband and has no wish to be preganant or married for that matter again. Always wise to use condoms if you don't want pregnancy to be the end result.

I agree with the previous posters, the pre-seminal fluid contains sperm, and you can get pregnant. If using condoms is a hassle for you, there are lots of good hormonal birth control methods out there.

Does you boyfriend really think he could come and not notice?

agree with the others and have proof that pre-cum can get you pregnant. my cousin's first child was conceived with pre-cum -- they were relying on the pullout method for b/c and it wasn't very successful.

all methods of b/c have risk of pregnancy associated with them -- it's just that some are riskier than others. my mom got pregnant with my brother while she was on the pill.
