How does women's masturbation differ from men's masturbation? Is there any harm for her body if a woman masturbate?

Most women masturbate by stimulating their clitoris either by hand or with the aid of a vibrator of some sort. Women also can masturbate by stimulating their g-spot, and there are vibrators made for that purpose. Some women enjoy using a dildo inside of their vagina. Touching in other erogenous zones may also be part of masturbation for some women. Just like men, different things work for different people. Some women lie on their backs, some are on their knees, some are standing or sitting.

If a woman uses a vibrator too often, she can become desensitized to the stimulation a partner can create. This can happen with the use of her hands also -- just like a guy can cause from masturbation. In either case, the body can be retrained to react to different stimulus. By only having partnered sex (giving up masturbation for a period of time) her body will start to respond to that stimulation.

DW masterbates frequently, often stimulaing herself while I'm thrusting during IC and has been doing so for the 40+ years we've been together, and she's just fine.
