The worst thing ever! :-)

Hi everyone,

Phew! I think I have discovered just about the worst thing ever! No matter how many times you wash your hands before doing so, never ever masturbate if you have been cooking with raw chillies earlier in the day! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! :-)

Have never jumped out of bed so fast in my life last night... and nothing gets rid of it. So there I am, sat in the bath at 1am (which incidentally I now realise takes *ages* to fill to a high enough level) splashing water, soap... Nothing works!

I'm sure it's only me that these things seem to happen to! :-)

So far fo me, the worst thing to happen is rashing up extremely bad after DH talked me into letting him shave me a second time. Even tho it was terrible the first time, don't know why I allowed it a 2nd but it was truely horrible. I kept getting what looked like cradle cap, that would shed off then another crusty layer of skin would surface and I had to go thru another sloughing that would yet again reveal very irritated and overly sensitive skin underneath. It took a couple of months to get back to normal again. That will never, ever happen again!

Thanks for sharing Clare! I wonder if milk would have helped? Not drinking it, but pouring it on the hot spot. I know that it takes the hot away if you drink it after eating something spicy. I don't know if you'll ever make the same mistake again, but if you do, give milk a try. Of course, you'll have to let us know if it works ;-)

Heya!

I would have tried anything last night - washing doesn't work!!!

25 minutes in the bath, frantically washing "down there" with water, then soap, then shower gell... nothing!!!! And the worst bit was that it eventually felt fine... until I got out of the bath, towel dried, got back into bed and then... the feeling is straight back again! Into the bath again we go... D'oh!

I'll never make that mistake again! LOL

Clare.

Too late now but I could have helped. Its the oil in the peppers that burns the skin. The only thing that works is to dilute the oil using vegatable oil. Water and soap don't work. You rub lots of veg. oil on the area until the burning stops. Then wash off with Dawn dish soap.

Hi Clare!

I have done this also, so you are definately not alone. My story:

DH and I made dinner together (mexican food)and he asked me to cut up the chile's. I did it....didn't think anything about it. Later on that night, we started to fool around in bed. My husband, who had also touched the chile's after I had cut them up, reached down and started to finger me. It took just a minute and then, WHAM!! A burning hot sensation started to fill my entire vagina!! I yelled "Oh my god" and DH looked at me and said "what's wrong"? All I could say was HOT!! And then I started some combination of laughing and crying. My DH went and got a cold washcloth and I literally took the fan that was sitting on the dresser and set it down on the bed. I laid in front of it, legs spread, letting the cool air blow onto my vagina! DH walked back in the room with my cool washcloth and burst out laughing! I just looked at his face and started laughing even harder. I must have looked hilarious. This whole incident was probably 16 years ago but I remember it like it was yesterday :o)
I have never done it again though!! Glad to hear someone else has done this too. I thought I was the only stupid one!!

Thanks for helping me conjure up a pretty funny memory!

Use disposable plastic gloves when handling things like chili peppers. Don't touch your eyes after having hot peppers on your hands, either. Otherwise, try using honey on the tissue that is burned. I've heard that it helps, but have not first hand experience with it.
