Liv, do the implants ever need to be replaced?

I had a friend get this done, and I think her's need to be replaced every 10 years or so. Just curious.

dunno if it would go under breast enhancement but I'd be interested in putting the "girls" back up where they were once I'm done breastfeeding.

Misty,

I thought I posted last night and lo and behold it never went through. So here is my answer again, LOL

My doc said they are not meant to be life time devices-his words exactly-but he has seen them last 20 years. He has been doing the procedure for almost 30 himself. Implants don't need to be removed/changed unless there is an issue with them. Earlier there were more problems with leakage, which rarely happens with the materials they use now. Also the statistics for the numbers of re-dos are slanted because many go back for bigger/smaller implants rather than other issues.

Going to hit POST now and pray the computer fairies cooperate!

I'm of the mind that natural is best... Obviously there are times when surgery may be best. But I don't think I ever would get plastic surgery.

Even though I would love to change things about my body. I think I need to learn to be sooo grateful for what I have and how great it is! That's my own issues though :)

Interesting thought as I had to really think about it, but have to honestly say the only one I'd consider would be laser hair removal...
