Hi everyone.

Woohoo!!! My orgasms are **finally** back!!! Thank God!!! :-)

I don't know why, but no matter what I've tried, I've not been able to get there by masturbating for almost four months. I've never been so frustrated in my life. Everytime I've tried I just couldn't get there (to the point that I got so annoyed I accidentally broke my favourite vibrator by throwing it at the wall)...

Then today, yay, I finally found something that worked and it *finally* happened!!! :-)

Woohoooooooo.... And, erm, Phew!!!! :-)

Clare.

I have not had orgasms disappear on me for a period of time. I can see why you would be concerned. Some people find that using a vibrator on their clitoris is counterproductive because if people are sensitive in that region a vibrator could numb them out. Depending on the day you are having, as well as your level of arousal, different movements may be necessary.

Hi Acey,

Have you been able to have orgasms during partnered sex in the past? It can take a while to get used to a new lover, and if you haven't had partnered sex for a couple of years, it may just be a matter of becoming more comfortable being with him.

Here are a couple of articles you might find helpful:

Have fun experimenting, and keep us posted on how things are going.

Your situation could be caused by any number of things. Sometimes it just takes a little time for a new sex partner to learn how you need to be stimulated or sometimes it is the climate of our lives that makes it more difficult for women to orgasm with someone new, like a lot of stress.

Men have it so easy when it comes to orgasms.

well this is the 1st relationship ive been in and my bf is the first guy ive ever had sex with.. so im not sure if i had had a relationship before if it would be different or the same.. also i think the main problem is im really horny when he plays with me when my clothes are on but when they come off something happens that makes me feel less aroused.. like it plummets to zero.. i dont know wat that means but i believe is probably because after the clothes come off its straight to intercourse, there is no in between.. meaning foreplay.. im the kinda gal that needs a ton of play to get me sufficiently aroused enough to O. on the other hand by myself i can get myself to cum under 3 minutes.. maybe its because i have done it myself for so long and my body isnt used to a different way of "performing" yet? i believe it is very much about the foreplay tho.. bf goes so quick and my body is not able to keep up? (guys do tend to be ready before us gals tho in most cases) im not quite sure how to pinpoint the problem yet but i feel it might take some time.. i know i will be there one day tho! :)
