Yeast Infections from sex?!?!

Just recently I started dating this guy and we're head over heels for eachother. We literally can't keep our hands off eachother, which is amazing, but Im having some unfamiliar side effects from our constant sex sessions.

Though I've had former boyfriends (and we've had equally as much sex), Im finding that when we have sex repeatedly within a short period of time, I'm getting feelings of intense pain when he enters me and for the first little bit (that goes away), and that I'm starting to get what seems like yeast infections a few days later.

I've been sexually active for years and have never had this problem. Is it possible that he's giving me these infections? I'm on the pill so we dont use a condom, could it be caused by his cum? I'm completely baffled...help!

A new guy, no condoms, do you know for a fact that he is STD clean?

What "seems like" a yeast infection could be many different kinds of infections, and until you've been seen by a doctor, even if it seems to go away, it could be anything. Chlamyidia is one STD that's similar to a yeast infection. Bacterial infections have the same symptoms, too.

Whatever it is, it has to be diagnosed, and treated, and he has to be treated too, or he'll give it right back to you.

That's what Safe Sex is all about. Until you're in a monogamous relationship, and he's been tested, you can get anything. The pill doesn't protect you from STD's, only from pregnancy. Unless he's been tested, he could have anything at all, and not have any symptoms. Even testing doesn't always work, because some STD's have long incubation periods.

See your gyno.

Forgot to mention, I've been tested, and he's told me he has just been too... So that's completely out of the picture (and the only reason we decided not to use a condom).

Testing does not make STD's out of the picture, or other infections. Some take time to cultivate, and could be pos. now and were neg. a week, or a month ago. HIV for instance can take from 10 to 12 years to show up, for a pos. test. He could very well have a yeast infection and be passing it to you, then you back to him. I agree with Tish, get to your GYN.

As far as it being to have a yeast situation, I would have to say yes, even if you don't know the cause of it.

Although this was reported as rare, the constant activity may actually re-transmit back and forth, even if he hasn't mentioned feeling any symptoms himself. Here's some info on it that someone out there may find helpful:

I've read from some posts in the past that their similar symptoms to yours were determined to be nothing more than that part of your body getting naturally irritated by the constant activity itself as well.

Who knows what it could be...the possibilities could be a mile long IMO. Good luck on resolving that whatever it is.
