I saw a sex therapist because I'm not sure if I am orgasming or not..... to make a long story short, she asked if I use vibrators and I told her I was always afraid of buying them online and thus getting junk mail catalogs for the rest of my life.

I am an Independent Consultant for the foremost authority on romance toys and can answer a lot of your concerns. My website is private and only send the rare email or newsletter and remove and add those that are interested in info and its all via email. I do accept returns for defective product within the first 90 days of purchase... in no way do I resale. The defective product is sent back to the distributor and destroyed. They send me a new replacement and write off the destroyed one as a business expense. Therefore there are no reasons to cut corners. As far as washing your toys... always use a toy cleanser. Do not use soap of anykind... even antibacterial as it can over time breakdown plastics.

Let me know if you are curious about any products or services I offer! BrittanysPassion@yahoo.com

Trail Girl, I know I am a little late on my reply here, but a lot of these sites are very secure. The appeal of online shopping is you don't run the risk of running into someone you know, or having someone see you enter a brick and mortar store. I run my own online store and this is the biggest appeal to all of our customers (we also do not spam, unless you sign up). Glad you found all the answers you needed!

I own an online store and we don't send out mailers. Lol Anyway, DON'T clean them with boiling water. Use warm water and a mild soap or (better yet) toy cleaner that you can get at any sex store.

shop in the privacy of your own home with passion party and they have a toy cleaner that you can buy that is good. Then you don't have trouble with mailers or unwanted emails and you can shop by catalog at home.

Make sure that the store you want to buy from does not allow returns.

It does not make business sense for a store to allow returns becuase they will need to re-sell them, to make money, right? That's gross.

If you want a clean toy make sure to buy from a store that does not allow returns. When it comes to sex toys you dont want a 100% satisfaction guarantee, that means you may be buying a used sex toy. yuck.

Been awhile since I ordered from Shop in Private but I never got any mailers from them and it comes in a plain wrapper.

Don't get from Adam & Eve if you don't want a bunch of mailers coming to your mail box. I don't get mailers from Pleasure Me Now, Healthy and Active, Eden Fantasies, etc. You will get e-mails from them, though.
Some toy materials can be boiled and some can't, you need to check the directions and see how to clean them. I mostly use antibacterial cleaner.
