Anyone for the corset?? Need advice!

Hey all!

Just was browsing my favorite auction site last nite, for some sexy tops. I have always liked the corset look. So that sparked my interest and I searched corsets by themselves on google.

So here is my dilema. I am a bigger girl, but not that big. Seriously could stand to lose about 20 lbs, but overall I have a big frame, and I'm relatively tall. I am a couple inches shorter than my DH, but frame wise, my shoulders are much wider. LOL, oh well, he likes that amazon type woman, so it works for me.

Anyways, I have NO waistline, and after 3 kids I could use a little suck and tuck. SOooo, after reading and looking around, I think I am going to try the tight waisting a little bit with a corset. I don't want anything over the top. Just enough to finally give me a waist.

My questions? Does anyone do this, or have done this? Do you like the results? Do you feel the corset was worth the price? Do you have a favorite brand that you like?

I realize it will take a little time, but I am seriously wanting a waist. I think DH would like it too.

Any thoughts???

I have several corsets and am not by any means a tiny girl. All of the women in my family carry most of our weight in our middles, so I know where you are coming from. I would recommend getting a corset that will help to hold things tight, but you don't want to get something that is going to cause a lot of pinching and uncomfortableness.

When I have worn corsets that really didn't suit my body shape, it always ended with me getting cuts or bruises from the ribbing, or they were just too hard to move around in and be able to breathe at the same time. Since I like to keep mine on for sex play or going out, this obviously doesn't work. What you should probably look into are corsets that have at least 2 sets of ties in the back - avoid the button, velcro and bra back style at all costs! The ties should be pretty sturdy (heavy ribbon or shoe lace strings) so that you can tighten without worry about them tearing. When the bottom section and top section have their own ties, you can adjust the part around both your tummy and breasts to get a great feel.

You can also look for the ones that have stretchy around the bottom for a more comfortable fit.

I would strongly suggest you go someplace and try some out first - before you buy online. Go to a Fredricks of Hollywood or someplace that sells nicer brands of lingerie, like Felina. I would hate for you to spend $80 on something and hate it.
