Earth Day is the 22nd, so that means this week is Green Week for us at iVillage, which is why our logo this week has turned green - isn't it snazzy?

Here are a couple of green-related links you might want to visit:

Mostly run around yelling at the other people in my house to recycle, stop wasting paper products, and conserve water, LOL.

How about you?

Psst ... I also use my electric sex toy more. Gotta conserve on batteries, you know ;-)

LOL

*I recycle
*use canvas shopping bags
*energy light bulbs
*a rain barrell to catch rain water for watering flowers
*sometimes I'll walk to work
*use refillable cleaning products

I need to make myself use a refillable water bottle instead of bottled water

Even though they say you aren't supposed to, I do refill my water bottles. I also fill some half full and freeze them. That way when going out, I can add the rest of the water and it stays cold a long time!

(I just try to avoid cleaning all together, that way I'm really saving the environment, LOL.)

You're not supposed to refill the water bottles?

The newest thinking is that the plastic puts some sort of cancer-causing chemical into the water. They say the same thing about reusing the plastic containers that have been microwaved in. I figure I'd have to do it all day, every day to have it affect me. (I still eat hamburgers off the grill too, LOL.)

I don't think I could use recycle bags for grocery shopping (too many bags needed), but I do recycle the ones I bring home.

Good idea with the old computer too!
