Kegels and toys

I have always tried to do Kegels on my own. I have read a lot about them. But everytime I try, I clinch more muscles than needed. I have read a few places about (i might be spelling this wrong) ben wa balls. Is there a starter one anyone can recommend? After two kids, I know things are not as tight as I (or DH) would like. So I was thinking some toy help might be needed. I have about 5 months before DH comes home...so I have a while to work on it.

Any recommendations would be great. Plus something that I could wear without being confined to my room would be nice. ;) Just remember I am a beginner to this. I will need instruction and help!

Thanks for all the help..You guy are great. I appreciate it and so does DH.

SmartBalls are probably what you are looking for. They're a little larger than traditional ben wa balls, and consequently a little easier to keep in. They're made of plastic, with a weighted ball inside them, and they're linked together so they don't get lost. Lube them up, slip them in, and you're good to go about your business.

Replace the '(dot)'s with '.'s in the link below to get a better idea what they're all about.

I agree with Steve about Smart Balls being a good choice when starting out with Ben Wa type balls. I find t hat I can wear mine all day long, go abotu my chores and what not, and not have to worry that they might fall out.

They are a little more pricey than some other ben wa balls, usually around $25, but they will hold up well.
