I am terrified of getting spyware and also a novice at this whole sex thing.

Welcome to Let's Talk Toys, Luvs.

Technically, a dildo is a replica of a penis, but in the sex toy world, they don't always look like a penis at this time. The main purpose of a dildo is insertion, and yes, some do vibrate.

When you start shopping, you'll find that there are also toys made for specific types of stimulation, like g-spot stimulation. While inserted like a dildo, most g-spot toys are referred to as vibrators.

Vibrators can have a lot of different shapes, sizes and intensities. It all depends on what you're looking for when you make your purchase. The rabbits that Opal mentioned are very popular. Pocket rockets are also very popular for first time vibe users.

I've not had any problems with the websites that Opal recommended either. While I've viewed all of them, I've only purchased from Healthyandactive.com and drugstore.com. Both of those companies have had great customer service and discretion.

Have fun shopping, and let us know what you decide to try. If you have more questions feel free to ask those too,

I just recently bought my first dildo.

I bought mine from edenfantasys dot com

There was no virus, trojans or worms linked with that site.

Mine doesn't vibrate, but its made of "cyberskin" and it's great.

Eden fantasys dot com is a very good source and they have good descriptions of toys and a great sex forum. We also use adultdvdempire dot com. It is good for toys, but it is excellent for adult DVD'S. Good descriptions including scene indexes and screen shots. Prices are good and delivery is very fast.

If you havent bought, you could do a pure romance party then you would be able to see and touch the vibrators and all the stuff they have before you bought. You can go to their website and find a consultant in your area. That is what I did before I bought one. I was one of the people that would never ever own a vibrator...now I have a drawer full and I enjoy them with my husband! Good luck!

I think everyone has pretty much already answered your questions, but as far as spyware and whatnot, unless you are downloading something from the site, you should be fine. My biggest concern would be junk mail (real mail) - Adam and Eve have a notorious reputation for making it near impossible to get off the mailing list, even if you had never requested to be on it in the first place. Not to mention their junk mail is hardly discreet. My advice would be to check the privacy policy of any site you are considering buying from.
