also read some of the topics on this board as this question has been asked alot! LOL!

make sure you have some candles, a sexy nighty, and something sexy for him to put on as well, soem nice 'finger foods' to share, and a nice cool drink for you both. If your going to stay home then maybe try 'red lights' all over the house and no candles just the red lights...makes things really nice! leave him notes as to where to find ya...at the end with his anni gift all wraped up waiting for him...

good luck!

Mine is in 3 weeks and here is what I have planned. First I looked at the summer resort town closest to us and got a fabulous stay one and get one night free deal, it even included one dinner and two breakfasts. We could never afford it during the high season so it is going to be a little exotic for us. DS is in sleep away school during the week so that is taken care of. Yesterday I went to the big Borders book store near my house and they have a huge selection of all sorts of love books displayed for Valentine's Day. They had everything from sweet love poems to graphic Kama Sutra photo books. I bought a few of the books. Last week I had hit the Walmart near there and got some of that nice warming massage lotion/lube that KY sells now. I also found right under the condoms a vibrating ring for him to wear(I hope that was PC enough). It is a single use type of thing and it was only 5 bucks. I wanted to add a little something spicy to the mix. I got some fizzing balls for the jacuzzi tub. My DH is a scent driven guy. I bought some coordinating candle smells too. I also got some really pretty lingerie and at jhun's suggestion I am going to try a striptease. I burned a CD this morning of some music and I've been practicing dancing in the mirror. I am still a little unsure but I'm not giving up on this yet. DH has asked for this but I still haven't been brave enough. I still have to grab his favorite chocolates and some finger foods as well. The last thing I plan on doing is putting all these items in some kind of pretty container, wrapping it in a nice sheer material and writing a note(I got some pretty antiqued type paper for christmas) of all the things he's done this year to make my life better and I'm going to attach that all rolled up to the ribbon.

My best friend wakes her husband up every year wearing her wedding gown. She has no kids by choice so it isn't heirloomed in a box or anything. She says "doing the bride" drives him crazy. I don't know if you have that as a choice but she swears by it. Have fun and congratulations!
