Best position while pregnant??

I'm about 5 1/2 months pregnant and DH and I are no longer able to keep with our favorite positions. Not to be terribly boring, but we both really enjoy man on top...DH likes the sense of dominance and I like him having control. Rear entry is out of the question, because for some reason while I'm pregnant it is extremely painful, almost as if DH is too long or I become shorter on the inside. Whatever the reason, it really is out of the question. This applies to our favorite shower sex as well!

Right now, what is working best is DH on his knees in bed, or standing at the edge with me on my back...but I just don't get the feeling of intimacy since there is no way to get as much kissing/touching in this way.

Of course, there is me on top, which we do, but the larger I will get, the more I hate it, simply because, while DH may find my baby bump sexy, it is distracting for me during sex to look down and see that huge, round belly!

So....what positions worked for you all during yours/your wife's pregnancies??

I enjoyed sex during all 3 of my pregnancies. Have you tried spooning? You can both cuddle, caress, kiss a lot and it's easy on your tummy. Your cervix may be more sensitive because you are PG, which could be why rear entry hurts. iV used to have a position finder and I think they had a lot for PG women, I'll see if I can find that link. Also, he could still be on top is you put pillows under your hips, or even invest in Liberator wedges. Get creative, have fun and enjoy it now while you aren't getting interrupted by a hungry baby! :)

Thanks! I have been trying to remember what we did when I was pregnant with our son, but for the life of me I couldn't remember!!

ahhh... pregnancy induced memory loss! ;) I was so scatterbrained when I was PG. Sadly, it's only got worse since my last was born 10 years ago!
