do you watch your stocks, 401k, IRA more now?? I try not to. It's too depressing.
What do you think we can do to help the economy?? Spend money we don't have, continue using those cute, little, plastic cards...... lol

what are you doing different today?? more worried about DH's job stability, he works for a mutual company (for 16 years) and since OCT it's stock has dropped from around $40 a share to under $5 (which is officially "junk")

do you watch your stocks, 401k, IRA more now?? always have. They have been significantly reduced.
What do you think we can do to help the economy?? electing Obama was a good start, but it's such a big freakin' mess I have no clue
has the economy changed you?? === yes, about 50% of our retirement is GONE. And since we are already retired, we can't get it back while the market keeps dropping
what are you doing different today?? === spending a LOT less and worrying a lot more
are you worried about our economy?? === yes, we had expected to have LOTS left over to leave to our heirs and now we will have to die before we are 89 totally broke! And that assumes a market recovery I don't see happening for a while...
do you watch your stocks, 401k, IRA more now?? === it's all in low yield money markets and CDs now and yes, we watch it like a hawk. Of course, we watched it before too but that didn't help
What do you think we can do to help the economy?? === government intervention is critical IMO. They are the ONLY ones with the money needed to jump-start spending and spending is our only way out of this. Of course, I don't WANT to spend because that means we are draining capital and shortening our retirement life as we do it...
