Yes, but it should be pointed out that it isn't obligatory to fill out one's profile, and some people don't want to because of privacy considerations. Everyone is welcome here, profile filled out or not, and some people let information about themselves come out gradually in their posts. To each their own method...

lol...Of course it's not obligatory.... But I do think it's a good way to learn about others as it's sometimes hard to remember what each peson has said about themselves in posts.
