I found myself in about the same situation with my husband.

Married for 11 years here and I have to tell you that has been such an issue during my married years with my husband. We actually went 2 years without making out--he too would react by laughing or blowing of the subject, yet we would have intercouse. It actually hurt my feelings and our sex life was altered because of it.

I agree with meme. I say you should talk to her about it. Let her know how much it turns you on. Are you maybe trying to do this while she's busy, or doing something?

I love to 'make out' with my DH, as part of foreplay or just for fun. I love to have some "deep" Kissed in the morning on his way out the door, then when he gets home he is all over me. making out so much fun no matter if it leads to sex.

Why not ask your DW how she feels about making out?? it could be her way of pushing you away when she doesn't or isn't ready for sex yet.
