Need online suggestions please!!!!!

DH and I have recently decided to purchase our first toy! That being said, I have absolutely no idea what sites are safe, reliable, etc. Across the board many people refer to their toys but I haven't found anything thus far stating where they bought them.

We would greatly appreciate any suggestions - whether you were happy with the site, product or not, etc.

Thanks a bunch! This is shaping up to be a wild and crazy Christmas!!!!

We've never bought on line but I find it's kind of a thrill for us plain Jane married parents to sneak off to an actual store. I know it sounds incredibly ridiculous but because we get a sitter about once or twice a year, I like to get sexxied up in a cute outfit and after we've gone for dinner or whatever excuse we gave our in laws for needing kid free time, go to the toy shop and flirt and whisper about different things we're seeing. God, that even sounds pathetic to me. I really need to consider getting out more!LOL :oD But hey it works! We usually have get sex that night!

Thanks for your replies. While it has taken me some time to get my DH to even talk about sex or buy anything relating to sex- he is TOTALLY against going to a store. Private is private, he says! (I find this embarassing part of him, soooo cute). So, I am trying to keep it as discreet as possible and will most likely purchase online.

We are venturing out (slowly but excitingly) and appreciate any help anyone provides!

Thanks again Tish and Trl1720.

Go on Google and type in "sex toys" and you will get scores of suggested sites, and they pretty much all are reliable and package the material in plain wrappers. Good luck and have fun!!

We do all our shopping online. As much as I like the last post about getting a sitter and making a day of it, I doubt DH would comply.

Here is a site that might help, and might be fun for you Hubby too look at with you. It is a .org so it has a bit of an eduactional feel about it.

Have fun and good luck!

I just checked out that .org web site mentioned in post 8, and it seems to be a marketing scheme thinly disguised as public service. Every few lines there is a link to a site selling stuff. I'm not saying that site is disreputable, but I'm skeptical given the devious marketing.

I'm not a huge sex toy shopper (yet) but I've done a lot of looking and a little buying. Here's what I've found:

Adam & Eve (adameve.com) has been in the mail order sex toy business longer than anybody else I know of, since way before the www came about. Their web site is decent and has customer reviews of products, a la Amazon.com, which is a great feature.

Good Vibrations (goodvibes.com) is woman-owned and has been on the web for years. Their site was down today, but I have ordered from them and was pleased with the product and the service.

Toys in Babeland (babeland.com) is similar to Good Vibes, also woman-owned and has also been around for years with a solid reputation.

Idol Passions (idolpassions.com) is one that I have not heard of until I found it today while searching for a particular product. The product I was shopping for turned out to be significantly cheaper there than most of the other 20 or so online shops I checked. I checked out their shipping policies, etc. and they seem to be respectable. Maybe someone can confirm or deny that?

The product I was looking for turned out to be cheapest at Seeking O (seekingo.com), but I didn't really like their site. You can check it out though. Incidentally, that product (Sportsheet) varied in price from over $225 at some sites, to only $120 at Seeking O. So it definitely pays to shop around, although you obviously want to go with a respectable shop and not go strictly by the lowest advertised price.

All those places advertise discreet shipping and billing, and I can attest that Good Vibes lives up to it. I can't vouch for the others just because I haven't ordered from them...yet.

Passion Blush is an online sex toy shop partnered with Henry and June, which is a pretty big online lingerie shop. They have some higher-end toys.

If you're not looking for anything super risque, you could try drugstore.com. They have your basic sex toys as well as pharmacy stuff.
