We'll all got it. But how much stress do you have to endure before it starts to affect your sex life?

Do you use sex to diffuse the stress? Or does stress diffuse your sex (i.e. too stressed to want it/desire it/have energy for it)?

What do you do to not let stress creep into your marriage bed?

Stress, or I should say anxiety is my middle name.

I am at the tail end of a divorce. Hopefully, it'll be final in mid-April. I don't want the divorce, but it's inevitable and I need to get the process over with so I am free to start over with my life. STBX and I have been separated for 18 months, and the stress on me has been tremendous, though I do have some good days on occasion.

For the most part, the effect on my sex drive has been very negative. Most of the time, I don't desire sex at all. Sometimes I don't care if I never have sex again. Other times I crave sex, but that's not the norm.

Stress definetly makes a difference! Usually a negative one. My mind can't settle and I can't relax. My DH can sometimes get me relaxed enough to "De-stress" me. If he can get me there, it always works!
