I would say ALL THE ABOVE....but the gasing my car thing! I do myself no problem!!

I think if DH did any of the above I would love it!! and its all called romance!!

I don't know how to vote!! I do all those things, and I do them at different times, based on what kind of mood DW is in.

Ohhh, maybe I should have posted it as an open question. Live and learn. How 'bout now...What's your idea of romance? If you don't mind telling, are you a man or a woman? Just to get an idea if there are differences.

My husband does this thing where we'll be in a public place and he'll be doing something completely not me related (buying something, talking to someone, looking for something) and he'll slip my hand into his and drop a kiss on my forehead and just go on with what he's doing. It's like his way of telling me that he's thinking about me even though he's doing something else.

It's funny, y'know, because I always thought roses, wine, candle-lit dinners would be the ultimate in romance. I still think they are romantic, but to me it's really the little things that are even more so. It's kind of silly, but the other day Dh bought me some low-carb wraps at the store and he was so cute - you'd think he'd invented them, too! I mean how sweet is that? Just knowing that he's thinking of me is my idea of romance. We work together, and it can be difficult because we kind of have to leave romance out of the workplace, obviously. But every once in awhile, he throws caution to the wind (and looks around to make sure nobody is looking lol) and kisses me. He's not a big talker, but having him come and ask my opinion of something or asking me an intellectual question and conversing about it at the dinner table are very romantic to me.

Plus, he COOKS!!! And, he is a good cook, too. He probably cooks 3-4 nights a week. And when I cook, he does the dishes (and vice versa). He goes to a men's group on Monday nights, and I know it's kind of tough for him (he's not a real group person but he is trying to grow as a man and husband), so I cook a nice dinner on those nights just to let him know I'm thinking of him and want him to relax when he gets home. We really have a nice routine going, and to me that is what intimacy and romance are about. Okay, I'll stop. I'm getting all mushy.

Judy, mushy is good! When I first met hubby I wasn't into the whole traditional romance thing. Now that I'm a bit older, I love it! But I agree, it's the little things that truly get me. On my first day of college (I had been out of school awhile) I was very nervous, I walked outside to my car and there was a large evvelope on my windshield. Inside DH (boyfriend at the time) had everyone at our work write a good luck note to me. There were about 2 dozen warm fuzzies for me. I think that is the most romantic thing I have ever experienced.
