If the truth be told,It's NO ONES buisness what you and your H does.It's yours and his money,you 2 should spend it the way you 2 want to.I think that I would tell your H to tell them"Not unless you all are paying for what we do,then I don't think you all has anything to say
it really nobody's else bees wax whether you cook at home or go out all the time....its your money. You earned it, now you spend it....so you went out for breakfast....it is called a "treat"....
I wouldn't let it bother me...just say something like "well, didn't hear you offering to make something for me"....lol

I find this thread funny.
Like you I cooked for years! every night but fridays it was "pizza night" when our girls were younger.
But my family (inlaws)
My mom got one of each too, my older sister is the domestic kitchen goddess, not me.
that is a good idea of take out places....my mother is like that too....she had been cooking for many yrs now all the kids have families of their own so she only has her and gr-ma to cook for and that is not alot...same as me I cook for my kids 5 days weekly for the most part but when you kids doing things on their own and you have no idea when anybody is coming home I don't cook or waste my food/money....so there....don't know why everybody is getting their noses outta joint....cheesh....personally I would love to go out once in a while....at least I know I can get something that I want to eat....
to each their own as what they do for "meals"....
