YUM....

Wow, I had a weird night. There was a big screw up w/ my DR's office and the med I take for fibromyalgia pain wasn't filled, so I missed it for 6 days. Whoa. My pain totally amped up. Anyway, I finally got a refill last night, but I had to take some Ultram for breakthrough pain. It just conked me out about 8:30. So, I woke up about 5 am feeling a little wonky. I took a shower, got in bed next to DH, put XM Chill o (it plays stuff like Air, Sigur Ros, Boards of Canada, etc) and put my body lotion on. He kind of noticed his naked wife next to him and wisely took advantage of the situation. YUM.... 3 hours of bliss. We did everything to every part of our bodies and he was very late for work. Except now I am craving a cigarette so bad I might lose my mind!

I know I talk a lot about the hurt and betrayal his affair makes me feel. I am desperately in love with DH though, and I know he is with me. This is just a big bump in our road, but it's not going to ruin us. The particular psychopath he had the affair with thought she got all good parts I get to have and thought this would destroy me. She was so terribly wrong.

God, I know! I haven't had a craving like this in a long time. ARGH!! It's just crazy how your brain chemicals can cause so much chaos. Nicotine releases dopamine and serotonin. Obviously those have a direct connection with the feel good chemicals released during sex. I am on Wellbutrin right now too, and it has some very unusual properties. Unlike SSRI's (Prozac, Paxil, etc), it often increases sexual desire and response. But it also suppresses nicotine cravings. Go figure!!! It's like each half of my brain had an agenda.

I'm surprised to see Sigor Ros mentioned anywhere lol

I like them, it is really chill, that's a good name for the station

If there was ever an excuse to be late to work, this is the best! Glad you had a good morning!

I was on Ultram once for my fibro. And I mean once. I had taken it before classes and here I was, sitting in my Irish History class, trying to listen to the professor lecture on the Easter Rising of 1916, and I'm floating away. And I knew right then that Ultram was not the drug for me. I wouldn't be able to take it and function, not after I'd worked so hard and gone through so much hell to be able to go back to college. Master can take Ultram for His back and it doesn't bother Him at all.

Topsy-turvey, but wonderful! I know the two of you love one another, and are in love, so you go! Don't let the urge for a smoke get you, though. Hell, I know you won't. Weird, huh?

I hope I am not too old to take it up seriously, nor too stupid about machines to qualify as a commercial pilot. I do not feel like spending the rest of my life writing books that no one will read. It is not as though I wanted to write them.

I am pretty resistant to pain meds, which sucks. I could eat vicodin or percocet all day long and it won't touch me. Until a few months ago when I got in with a really good pain management DR I took Ultram at least once a day. He did injections in my hips and I take Flexeril. But going w/o Lyrica screws it all up. ERGH.

How is college going though?? Irish History sounds right up your alley!!

I'm attaching the text I am going to add to my shamrock tattoo!

Topsey-turvey is the perfect description. Yes, we are deeply in love. If we weren't, it wouldn't have hurt so bad. Plus, it's fun to get all topsey-turvey in the sheets!

800 thread count! That's what it's for, topsy turvey!

Here's hoping you have a replay, soon.

I can't use percocet. I learned that the hard way when I had surgery. And morphine doesn't do a thing for me. I've been on IVs to that, with it running through my veins and no effect on pain whatsoever.

That Irish History class was a long time ago. I was in it when I first met Master online 10 years ago. I had gone back to college at the age of 35 and got my second BA degree. This one was in English. I absolutely loved college and could have easily remained a student for the rest of my life.

So what does that saying mean in English? I want to learn Irish so badly! Rosetta Stone has an Irish program. I just don't happen to have an extra $550 to buy it.
