YUM....

Wow, I had a weird night. There was a big screw up w/ my DR's office and the med I take for fibromyalgia pain wasn't filled, so I missed it for 6 days. Whoa. My pain totally amped up. Anyway, I finally got a refill last night, but I had to take some Ultram for breakthrough pain. It just conked me out about 8:30. So, I woke up about 5 am feeling a little wonky. I took a shower, got in bed next to DH, put XM Chill o (it plays stuff like Air, Sigur Ros, Boards of Canada, etc) and put my body lotion on. He kind of noticed his naked wife next to him and wisely took advantage of the situation. YUM.... 3 hours of bliss. We did everything to every part of our bodies and he was very late for work. Except now I am craving a cigarette so bad I might lose my mind!

I know I talk a lot about the hurt and betrayal his affair makes me feel. I am desperately in love with DH though, and I know he is with me. This is just a big bump in our road, but it's not going to ruin us. The particular psychopath he had the affair with thought she got all good parts I get to have and thought this would destroy me. She was so terribly wrong.

Thanks Moon!!

When I found out about the whole big, fat mess it was a FRI afternoon. So, we talked, rather *I*I talked and asked questions and he listened and answered. We fell asleep around 4am. I am not sure I fell asleep, I remember just laying there with tears running down my face and somehow we ended up in each other's arms, he held me down and told me he loved me, was so ashamed and hoped I would someday forgive him. I think we had sex until late afternoon on SUN. I kept thinking "did someone spike my beer with X?" It was crazy intense. I think we both knew we'd be ok but it's just a combination of work, time, space and patience.

So, we go through phases, ups and downs but we always end up together.

I had not told my parents about any of this, it is just humiliating and my parents have this thing that I am never allowed to fail. So, a few weeks ago my mom caught me in a really weak moment and I told her. My mom actually acted supportive and caring (not her bag). She knows the idiot he did it with (and she already hated her) and she totally blew a fuse. It was like the weight of the world off my shoulders. It's been so much more therapeutic than marriage counseling ever was!

Anyway... long story short... I'm trying to forgive even if I'm pretty sure I won't forget. :)

Well, at least it's a different song and not a remake! :)

Yup, dilaudid is the ****. I had an issue with it though. I was in the ER on DEC 23, and they gave me dilaudid. I had to go back for the SAME issue on DEC 25 and again, dilaudid. Then I went to another ER on DEC 27 because my DR said they would admit me, for the SAME problem. Now, on a good day it is near impossible to start an IV line on me. So, after 7 days of vomiting and being extremely dehydrated, it's even harder. They managed to draw blood and I tested positive for opiates. DUH. So when the nurse could not get a line started, she said "This would be a lot easier if your veins weren't so scarred." Basically that means "I think you're just a drug addict and I don't care about what's wrong with you." Never mind my arms aren't covered in track marks and "scars." Witch. And drug addicts deserve good care anyway. ERGH.

They finally admitted me and kept the dilaudid flowing for a few days until I quit throwing up and they had done every possible degrading and painful test possible.

Yes, I have heard Nightwish, but that song belongs to Zep. Period. ;)

When my diverticulosis inflamed and became diverticulitis my doctor gave me morphine for the pain (he just said that he was giving me a pain killer. If I had known that it was morphine I would've told him not to bother). So when that didn't work, he gave me dilaudid and that took care of the pain right now.

I've always liked that song by Led Zeppelin, though to be honest, when I saw the song title I immediately thought of the one by Nightwish:
