anal and yest infection

Hi...Im very new to sex....even at the age of 27. Im worried that I may have a yest infections or even a UTI. This guy that I'm with, we were having anal, with a condom and luble, and without telling me, he pulled out and switched....
I know that that is not safe, but I didnt stop him. Is there anything I can do now to avoid the onset of an infection?
What I have now feels like the start of a yeast infection. Any advice would be great.
And I know, I should have spoken up, but I will have a talk with him...
Thanks.

Welcome to the board! Since going from anal to vaginal - I'm not a doc nor an expert but it wouldn't surprise me if you don't get an infection. Going from anal to vaginal will introduce all kinds of bacteria into the vagina and disrupts the good bacteria.
You might go ahead and call your doc, get checked out. You never know which it might be - yeast infection or urinary, which requires two different medications. Never hurts to get check out!
I hope that helps, and when my little X gets up - I'm sure she will have loads of information for you (she's a co-cl for the gyno board!)
Again, welcome to the board!
Hi persiankitty79,
I'm the little X that Newbie was talking about.
Although there is candida
And as far as the guy goes, Im done. He wasnt even a bf which makes me feel more stupid. He was someone I met through a friend, whom I lost my virginity to at the age of 26...and I feel like what he did was disrespectful, among other things....sorry, Im rambeling. Ok, thanks again, and I will keep you guys posted.

If your infection does not get better, go to the doctor get tested for bacterial vaginosis (BV). It can feel like a yeast infection and/or UTI, but requires different treatment.
Many women self-treat for yeast, when they actually have BV.
