I am older but forget it. That is a number only. The other day I saw a survey somewhere on the village of asking women if they would like or have a lesbian affair meaning in a threesome which to me is the meaning of an affair.

Jazz,

It was the specific reference to siggies and psychiatric issues that got me worked up too (as if you couldn't tell lol).

I hear you, and I don't think you understand yet what I'm saying.

You can't tell people how to show they're happy with their bodies. And you can't tell people how they should feel after you say something offensive.

I'm no longer responding to this thread because it's pointless.

"In Civilization and Its Discontents, Freud argued that civilization is founded on the repression of instincts. It now seems clear that one of those instincts leads us away from monogamy. Whether we choose to follow, on the other hand, is up to us."

Thank you Caroline, peace to you too.

Interesting thought you had "Sometimes too much dreaming can be a problem." I've more often been concerned by the trials and tribulations of those whom have lost their ability to dream. But there is a fine line in which dreaming and delusion come close. As well as, a fine line between the hope we muster from dreams and the frustration they can laden upon us.

At a very early age I was introduced to the poetry of Langston Hughes. Your comment today brought to mind his "Harlem: What Happens to a Dream Deferred?" It is a poem that for reasons I have never tried to unravel has always struck a chord with me and stayed with me for forty years.

What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun
Or fester like a sore—

And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—

Like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

This back and forth is pointless: Can we just get back to the topic and you can handle the personal feelings off line. You have nothing to provide to anyone except yourselves. Give the rest of the community a break.
