Well here is the scoop. I'm a 42 year old female who is in the middle of an early mid-life crisis per say. I have met a 26 year old younger guy and he is just about as hot as hot can be. I'm not in too bad of shape for 42 and for what I lack in boobs I make up in legs and personality. I've only known him for about 2 weeks and the sexual tention is just unreal to say the least. I have to masturbate over 3 times a day when I find myself thinking about him. I have only seen him face to face once and that one time wasn't enough for me. We didn't have sex but we kissed like there was no tomorrow and like we were majorly in lust with eachother. I'm almost afraid to see him again because I don't know if I can stop myself from falling for him really hard. What do you guys suggest?

Hang in there. The younger guy is probably trying to figure out what is real feelings are too. After the sex, he may be asking himself if he wants more than a sexual relationship. If he doens't call, you have your answer. You could always call him to find out. Being married though is a tough one. You are either going to work this out with hubby or not. If he doesn't love you and unwilling to go to therapy, move on. Life is too short.
My girlfriend is twelve years older than me. We have been together nine years and are still going strong.
I was 22 when I dated a 42 year old woman. When I was 25 I dated a 35 year old. I remember being very grateful and very happy. Of course, age difference meant we were in different places in life, so making it last "forever" maybe was not just unrealistic, but completely impossible. And, it is not for sexual reasons the relationships ended, not at all. So, when we look at why younger women have perhaps more long term success with older men is because of a myriad of reproductive and financial reasons. Mostly, that men are better situated in life and able to "keep" a woman, supporting her and be a father if needed or desired. Women, if willing to "keep" a man can pick a younger or older man, it's up to her. But when a woman is not willing or able to "keep" a man, the younger man is rarely a viable long term option.
I hope it works out. I only wish I had a woman who was dying to make love to me.
Well it doesn't look like me and my husband are going to make it last anymore. He is just fine with things the way they are and does not want to go to therapy with me. I just can't stop wondering what I should do now. I think my husband will come around but not sure when he will. While I wait on my husband I want the 26 yr old again. I'm not going to ever get any younger and my life right now is so incredibly boring. I go to work, come home, argue with husband, go to bed mad and upset, skip to next day and repeat.....that is my sad life. I actually like to go to work everyday to escape my home life. I am so old fashioned and think the man should contact the woman so I don't want to be the one to contact him first. I know all of you say to stay away from him because he will break my heart well he already is tearing me up by not contacting me. I want him again so bad I can hardly stand it.
Any man can tell you, we can be bumbling idiots, he may be distracted with work or whatever, he'll come around.
Love does happen in this way. My first wife was 17 years older. We were married that long too. It was great.
