No, I don't think monogamy is natural.

As a hopelesss romatic, the thought of monagomy NOT being natural, especially regarding the " carnal need" for men to spread their seed, is quite depressing.
So we can not, or have not, evolved from our very own roots of just spreading the seed?
Argy, I believe that since the beginning of the human species people have lived in some type of group, if only in the way that wolves or chimpanzees live in groups and for many of the same reasons.
Elisabethsuzie, I think that women and men are more similar in regard to their behaviors than is the case for the females and males in most other species.
