Ok, this isn't really taboo but I have a question about having sex on my period.

I have recently started a new pill that has cause constant BTB (break through bleeding for you guys who may not be in the know). My problem isn't having intercourse while bleeding a little. My problem is that I love oral sex done on me and will NOT let dh do it. And oral sex, nipple play and/or my trusty clit stimulator are my standard foreplay favorites. And nipple play is out because these pills cause my breasts to hurt.

My question is how do I get over feeling skanky? Are guys put off by blood? Dh says he's ok with it but the truth is he hasn't gone down on me since I started bleeding 9 weeks ago. And the other truth is that I don't want him down there.

Please help. And before you tell me to go off this pill let me tell you I've only been on it for 9 weeks and my doctor told me to try and keep with it for 6 months. I plan on following his orders.

Any help will be apprecitated.

LOL But to answer your question from my own experences, it did noy bother me at all..She on the other hand was sort of shaky on the fact that I did that..
When she is at her heavest, I wont go near it oraly... Hdog

I have only given oral to two woman while they had their period. To tell you the truth I thought the taste was better! They were at the end of the cycle, I dont know if that matters or not.

I just wanted to comment on Xplosiv1’s suggestion about using a diaphragm for flow collection during oral. I use a diaphragm for contraception and flow control during my period and oral works really well for us with my D inserted. You may need to do a bit of planning, to empty your D just beforehand so that during the intercourse that usually follows oral he doesn’t ram a dome full of flow and splatter you both. This holds true whether you are using a prescription diaphragm or an instead menstrual cup. And some couples find the guy helping with diaphragm insertion is a turn-on too!

LOL, the visuals I got from your post made me laugh.

Good advice, though. I still haven't gotten one of the cups. Maybe today. I'm a procrastinator.

"I was JUSt going to suggest that, it's called instead. and it's like a diaphram, only larger, and can stay in place for hours. It works, I have tried it! :)"

I completely agree, LM. I LOVE the Instead and it does work. The menstrual collection cups are very comfortable and are hypoallergenic--this is good because I'm sensitive to certain materials. Me and my husband often engage in sex during my moon as it relieves cramping, and doesn't make my husband or myself have to miss out on making love. On the heavier flow days, we hit the shower and do it there. On my lighter days, I use the Instead, and we can have regular intercourse in our bed, or whereever else we choose. The only thing is, sometimes (but not often) the Instead will leak, so we choose those positions that are less prone to cause a spill and normally have a waterproof throw or towel underneath us to catch any overflow. Another thing is, my husband can't penetrate me as deeply as he would like when I have the Instead in because the head of his penis bumps the bottom of the cup, and condoms are still necessary because the cup isn't made to protect against pregnancy. Although the extra precautions we have to take during my cycle make sex a little less spontaneous, it's still better than having no sex at all. So we don't mind going the extra mile.
